Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

We’re recruiting ‘Assistant Manager – Internal Audit’ for one of our client based in Sharjah, UAE.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. CA, ACCA or CIA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the Real Estate Development industry
  • Must be trained from Big 4 audit firms in the assurance or advisory section in the early phase of the career.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls framework, risk management and regulatory requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive review/audit of complex financial and operational processes to identify areas of risk and make recommendations to mitigate those risks.
  • Evaluate compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in internal audit function including planning, execution, and reporting and developing and implementing the risk-based audit plans.
  • Supervise internal audit team, provide guidance, and support and give appropriate performance feedback.
