Product Manager

We’re recruiting ‘Product Manager’ from oil field sales background for one of our client based in Dubai, UAE.

 

Job Description:

In this role, we’re looking for somebody who have proven experience in product management and sales within the oil field industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development and Execution.
  • Devise comprehensive sales strategies and ensure their seamless execution for achieving set targets.
  • Directly engage in actual sales processes, leveraging expertise and strategies to drive results.
  • Monitor and assess sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • The role necessitates frequent travel within the GCC region or potentially further within the Middle East to engage with clients and oversee sales activities.

Production:

  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.
  • Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
  • Lead product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD).
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
  • Make creative recommendations to expand the product base and vision.
  • Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users.

Commercial & Supervision:

  • Develop & execute the sales strategy, aligning with the regional marketing strategies in UAE & KSA to effectively manage and grow business related to the Oil and Gas Market.
  • Prepare monthly sales report with at least 3 months rolling forecast including project updates. Participate in budget planning.
  • Manage the interface between the customer and the different groups.
  • Define commercial framework and pricing guidelines to secure the project/business.
  • Provide leadership in the negotiation of pricing and supply/confidentiality agreements with customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships positioning competencies in current products, technical support, and innovation/solution capabilities.
  • Document all customer contact and opportunities in Dynamics 365/CRM to communicate market information, opportunities, trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Report status and progress of sales activities and development projects in UAE & KSA.
  • Coordinate with Process Technology & Engineering group in the deployment of Process Technology resources at customers.

Marketing:

  • Identifying competitive situations including threats from alternative solutions.
  • Create and implement a networking strategy that will support a generation of new sales opportunities. Identify and recommend or participate in relevant conferences, business and technical seminars, trade meetings, etc. to make new contacts and identify new opportunities.
  • Initiate new marketing programs including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Google to our products and capabilities.
  • Manage budgets for advertising, promotion, conference/tradeshow attendance.

 

Requirements:

  • Masters /Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Must be from trailers, tankers, mixers manufacturing background
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities
  • Must be fluent in English, Arabic language
